Whether you start from the target API, from the kind of building block you need, or from a structure that is on no catalog at all, the route ends the same way: specification, quantity, destination, and a reply by email. The catalog holds 271 products across 9 categories and 111 terminal APIs.
API synthesis intermediates
You know which drug substance you are making.
Every catalog product is listed with its CAS number and the terminal API it relates to, so you can work backwards from the drug substance to the intermediates that feed into it. 111 terminal APIs are covered, grouped into 10 therapeutic areas.
Not every catalog product maps to a therapeutic area: some are general building blocks. Those are easiest to reach through the category list or a CAS search.
Chiral building blocks
You need a stereodefined fragment for an asymmetric route.
121 of the 271 catalog products carry a stereocentre marker in their structure record, which means the structure is written with defined stereochemistry. The filtered list is generated from those records, not maintained by hand.
This is a property of the structure record, not a specification: the optical purity of a given batch is whatever the batch document states, and is agreed with you per order. Racemic material written without stereo markers will not appear in this filter even when a resolved form exists, so send us the CAS number if you cannot find what you expect.
